Your
private
kitchen and plant-filled sunroom
The exclusive Aspen Grove Retreat and Red Cliff include a fully equipped and stocked private
kitchen with basic staples, condiments, and breakfast items provided by
your innkeepers. Many of our guests choose to cook their breakfast and fix
a lunch before heading out to enjoy the many activities available in the
Four Corners area and then dine out in the evening. Durango has many
fine restaurants and your innkeepers can help with your choice.
In season, we share the produce from our organic gardens,
orchards, and berry patches with our guests.
Durango has "Old West
Charm" and features numerous
high quality restaurants. Ask Connie and Dave
for their suggestions!
You can hike, mountain bike, ski, sleigh
ride, white water raft, glider ride, watch the
Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train wind its way through the valley, or watch elk grazing in the meadow from your private patio
or deck and pond area. Our location on the Animas River is a bird watcher's
delight with new sightings daily throughout the year. Our guests have
caught brown and rainbow trout from our fishing access.

summer include: Wild Turkeys, Elk, Bobcat, Mule Deer, Bald
Eagles, Collared Doves, Magpies, Stellar & Canada Jays, Chickadees,
